Pochodzący z mroźnej Islandii Stephan Stephensen aka President Bongo, to jeden z założycieli i czołowa postać legendarnej grupy Gus Gus. President Bongo nie ogranicza się tylko do działalności z Gus Gus. Od wielu lat jest znany również jako DJ. W 2010 roku nagrał singiel z dOP, a z Jackiem Schidtem stworzył kolektyw Gluteus Maximus. Spod ich ręki wyszło kilka epek wydanych w labelu Radio Bongo. Duet wydał również wiele remixów house’owych, w tym dla takich artystów jak: Sigur Rós, Trentemöller i oczywiście – Gus Gus.
